HARRISBURG – Residents of the 9th District who have served or are currently serving in the military, as well as their families, are invited to Rep. Marla Brown’s (R-Lawrence) Veterans Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 2.

This event seeks to connect military members, veterans and their families to the variety of services and programs available to them.

“I am honored to invite our veterans and active-duty military members to this special breakfast,” said Brown. “It’s a great opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences and learn about the services available to support our heroes and their families. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and I look forward to expressing my gratitude in person.”

The event will be held at American Legion Post 343, located at 134 N. Jefferson St., New Castle, from 8-11 a.m. During that time, Brown and her staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Brown asks that veterans who want to attend call her district office at 724-498-4397 to confirm attendance.

“It is only fitting that we honor and thank our veterans for making our homeland a safe place to raise a family and for making America the best country in the world to live in,” said Brown.
