Brown to Host Veterans Breakfast in New Castle

NEW CASTLE – Rep. Marla Brown (R-Lawrence) will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8-11 a.m., at American Legion Post 343, 134 N. Jefferson St., New Castle. All veterans are invited to attend this free event with proof of service.

The breakfast provides an opportunity to honor the service, sacrifice and dedication of veterans and active-duty military members while connecting them with resources available to support veterans. Attendees can learn more about programs that assist with health, education, employment and other benefits, as well as sharing experiences and building connections with fellow service members.

“I am proud to host this Veterans Breakfast and have the chance to personally thank those who have served our nation,” said Brown. “This event is to help connect veterans with programs and resources that can make a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their families.”

Brown and her staff will be available throughout the event to provide information, answer questions and help veterans navigate available support services.
